Like sand, gravel is a gravity block in minecraft found around one's world.
Gravel can be found in small chuncks underground, floating in the nether, extreme hills, and at the bottom of the ocean. However, the first two methods are not recommeneded for getting a large amount of gravel. Mining gravel instantly requires an efficency 4 or 5 diamond shovel and silk touch is recommended to go with this as gravel may drop flint that is not useful.
Some hills high up are covered in gravel that can be mined up quickly and produce a high amonut of gravel.
The ocean floor is completly covered in gravel so anyone with a conduit can mass extract gravel from the bed of the ocean.
The main uses for gravel is similar to sand of making concrete and removing liquids, but gravel can also be used to make coarse dirt that will not become grass and get flint that can make arrows or a flint and steel.
